UBC Men’s soccer team paste UofT to reach the final

A quick goal in the first minute set them on their way to a convincing 3-0 win. Complete game report here. Or watch the entire game here.

Highlights from the win against Western in the quarter finals are now here (select from a list on the left side of the page; screen can be toggled).

The final is 1pm PST and will be streamed on SSN (same link as highlights). More info here. It will be UBC’s 15th appearance in the final game. In their previous 14 appearances, they have won 11 titles. It’s an incredible record that started in the 70’s with their first CIAU title and has continued since.

  1. Fred Cutler says:

Aaargh. York goal for 1-0 is a classic simple 1-2 at the edge of the box and ball across the face of goal 5 yards from the line in an area the keeper can do nothing about. Great far post run for a tap in.
Problem with streaming from a one-camera no-production broadcast is no replays!
